This presentation, about recycling, was interesting in the point of view that my classmate gave it because she firstly, told us a definition and the consequences of this; however, the most important that she mentioned was the interpretation between we, as teacher and recycling, considering that, we have to realize the students all the negative results such as pollution or waste so, students have to be aware of “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle” as a common practice of human life.

Technology.... Cristobal Jara´s presentation

Cristobal´s presentation had an interesting relation between his topic and his own presentation because he talked about technology and their uses, but he also talked about the advantages and disadvantages which are the cost or the troubles when the technologies do not work because the system does not adequate as in his presentation, he could not did avoid the entire presentation because he had a technical problem.

That kind of situations can happen, for example, once, when I was teaching in practice I had made a nice and beautiful PPT, full of colour and sound, but at the time to present it I could not because my laptop did not work with the school equipment.

So, use technology and, obviously, know how to use it or simply be prepared in view of technical problems are the very important points to develop when you are going to work on it.

Evelyn Antillanca´s presentation (Respect inside the classroom)

In this presentation, Evelyn, could realize us the importance the respect inside the classroom.

Nowadays we are living in a society which is very difficult to deal with... Imitations, stress or a way of the students decide to act are the reasons why those people react aggressively.

This entire presentation was interesting in several senses. First of all, Evelyn showed a real video which represent a clear example of what is happening inside the classrooms and It is a fact that is so awful because, we, as a teacher, have to have the capacity to manage the whole class.

Finally, considering this important point, we have to apply it to be preparing in front to any situation.

Gallipoli

A Peter Weir´s film made in 1981, based on a real fact in Australia in 1915 and starring by Mel Gibson and mark Lee, Australian people, makes this film a very interesting movie because we can watch how a person is really motivated to be joined up in the army, but later, Archy Hamilton (Mark Lee), realize that the purpose of the war is not so simply than he believed because in the climax, Archy, start to remember the most significative moments with his uncle before a running and obviously the watch that his uncle gave him.

This movie is very good representation of the real history because the director was inspired on the book of the official history of Australia of the First World War which makes it a closer version that happened in those time.

I liked very much this movie because mix the sense of humour of some character with the real sense of a war is involved.
